Impact Earth is an impact fund manager dedicated to co-building the impact economy in frontier markets and has become a partner of the Restoration Seed Capital Facility (RSCF) in 2023. They act as investment advisor to the Amazon Biodiversity Fund, providing venture and early growth funding to impactful enterprises and projects aiming at conserving or restoring local ecosystems, strengthening smallholder value chains, fostering sustainable agriculture, and providing innovative solutions. Impact Earth is planning to launch a biodiversity fund that raises between $50-100 million focused on either Latin America or Southeast Asia, similar to its existing Amazon strategy, Carbon Pulse has learned. The fund, likely to be officially announced by the end of next year, will focus on using nature-based solutions for impacts across biodiversity, climate, and social, said Vincent Gradt, CFA, co-founder and managing partner of London-based investor. The strategy is likely to maintain key features of Impact Earth's Amazon Biodiversity Fund, such as raising blended finance for project finance and venture capital investments, while engaging with a local subsidiary based in its target region, Gradt told Thomas Cox. Impact Earth will either look at opportunities across Latin American countries such as Peru, or focus on investments in Southeast Asian nations such as Indonesia, he said. We're pleased to announce the release of the Amazon Biodiversity Fund's second impact report for 2023, showcasing the impact achieved so far by the fund's portfolio companies, as well as their impact ambitions for the future. Although the fund is still in its early years, the fund is on the right path for 2030.
