It’s about time buildings built better businesses.

About us

The purpose of constructing a building is not to construct a building. It’s to create a place for organizations to thrive. Buildings are not meant to serve themselves, because it’s not really about the space. Buildings are meant to help the people inside them do better work, in better ways. Why is it then that we focus so much on the construction phase of a building, when its true purpose begins only after the last nail has been hammered into place? While construction focuses on the needs of today, a building must continue to help drive the objectives of a business far into the future. The building is not an end unto itself, but a means to a more deep and meaningful influence on the people inside it. Improve Group is a construction innovator with millions of dollars under contract, new modular construction technology, unheard of completion speeds, and an unrivaled integrated process. We want to continue to grow while improving the lives of more people and organizations. We are willing to take risks, innovate, and move quickly, which makes us confident we’ll not only reach our vision for growth, but will ensure our continued success for the long term. Leaders here must be willing to move fast, serve the team before serving the self and invest in building a strong culture. In our fast-paced work environment, that’s not always easy, but we have a great team and a deep sense for the purpose of what we’re trying to achieve.

  • This building is a catalyst to where we’re going, and a seed of what’s to come for New Mexico.   We have our sights set on disrupting the status quo in construction because we believe buildings can be built faster, smarter, better. Buildings that don't cost more. Buildings that are more impactful for the people who use them. It's about speed, disruption, and doing construction differently than the way it’s been done before.   A huge thanks to New Mexico United for their partnership and trusting us with this opportunity. • School safety has never been more important, and building great headquarters for school police is key to providing a safe environment. This school system was developing a new headquarters in a building with no windows. The project used prefab interiors to build out the interior of the space which let them embed technology in the wall systems, integrate high fidelity graphics to make up for the lack of windows, and the project was delivered faster than traditional builds. https://lnkd.in/gyfCxqix

  • 🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from Improve Group! 🍂 Thanksgiving affords us the time to reflect on where we’re at and where we’ve been and appreciate all that has come of it. We’ve had a great year; we’ve launched a new brand image, we’ve worked on some amazing projects and we’ve affected meaningful change in the construction industry and in the communities we built within. Without you—our partners, clients and team members—none of that would have been possible. It’s through your trust, collaboration and tenacity that we can realize new opportunities and outcomes.  We wish everyone a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving. Thank you all. 🦃

  • “An increase in productivity is hence needed to allow the industry to deliver projects with the same or fewer people per project. It would also create the financial space within construction companies to increase wages and invest in better tools and practices.” We're not going to meet future demand by tinkering with small changes. The industry has to come to terms with the need for foundational shifts and that’s going to require real change. Even small designers and contractors ought to be spending some capital on innovation; whether its new software or even new project delivery methods. It's up to all of us. https://lnkd.in/eTpzpUwT

  • Picture this: you’ve made it to the design review of your new building. Before you lie color boards, material swatches and maybe a blueprint and a rendering or two. You wrack your brain to try and visualize in your mind what the space will be like based on these flat representations. Is that hallway big enough? Too big? What about that conference room? Is that door in a weird place? Will that color look good on that wall? You try to imagine it, but it’s hard to get a good idea of what you’ll actually be walking into. What if it wasn’t? Our unique process eliminates these issues by placing you in an immersive 3D environment, allowing you to walk around and explore the space virtually. This creates an experience much closer to reality, giving you the power to make decisions through the eyes of someone actually using the space. Think of it as another way we’re using technology to bring humanity back to the construction process.

There are some people and places that go above and beyond to such a degree that it would be crazy not to celebrate them. One such partner is MAVericks Construction. We’ve had the good fortune of working with MAVericks Construction on multiple projects, where they’ve consistently helped us deliver in spite of very challenging environments. Based in Colorado Springs, MAVericks not only delivers fantastic work in the field, they also provide an incredible service to the military community. As multi-abled veterans themselves, MAVericks still serves America by helping to fill the skills gaps that exist when veterans transition out of active duty service and into the world of civilian careers. Through their various partnerships, MAVericks has helped many veterans build new careers in the construction field. Join us in thanking MAVericks Construction for their efforts not only to build better buildings, but to build a better America.

  • We’re excited to share a new look that represents a long-held belief—that what we build isn’t as important as why we build it. Our journey has always been about bringing a more human, collaborative edge to construction, and we're excited to share this new iteration with you. Join us in looking toward the future and reframing what it means to build better. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/geaTYRsD
