🌍 Young voices shaping the future! Serbia’s students, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, are proving that youth-led movements can drive democratic change. Their activism resonates with Include Me+, which empowers marginalized voices to shape digital narratives of inclusion, peace, and diversity. In a world where misinformation fuels division, both movements highlight the power of authentic storytelling and digital advocacy. 🕊️✨ "Crucially, the students’ response to violence is unmistakably nonviolent, something that profoundly destabilises the entire value system developed in Serbia for more than a decade. They have now been nominated for the Nobel peace prize." This is an inspiration to champion digital media as a force for good! 💡📢 #IncludeMePlus #NobelPeacePrize #YouthPower #DigitalDemocracy 🔗 Read more:

Desk Research Insights: Digital Media as a tool for Diversity, Inclusion, and Peacebuilding As part of our INCLUDE ME+ project, we’ve explored how digital media can drive meaningful change. Its ability to share and distribute content at unprecedented scales makes it a powerful force for both connection and division. While it informs and connects people, it can also spread disinformation, polarize societies, and escalate conflicts. Our mission is to use digital media to bridge divides, foster understanding, and create lasting peace. By addressing the root causes of conflict and leveraging digital tools thoughtfully, we aim to transform challenges into opportunities for a more inclusive and resilient future. The EU recognizes this potential, integrating digital innovation into mediation and conflict prevention efforts. Guided by its commitment to peace, democracy, and human rights, the EU champions inclusive solutions as a cornerstone of sustainable peacebuilding. Let’s work together to build a digital future rooted in diversity, inclusion, and peace! #DigitalMediation #Peacebuilding #Inclusion #DigitalTransformation #EUInitiatives #ConflictResolution Website: www.eu-digitalmediation.eu Facebook: https://lnkd.in/digitalpeace Instagram: https://lnkd.in/eu4inclusion
