‼️Anxiety anyone else feelin it even more??? As Leaders, Let’s Redefine How We Handle Anxiety During Stressful Seasons The end of the year can be overwhelming, with budget reconciliations, staffing challenges, and holiday commitments (both personal and professional). For many leaders, anxiety becomes an uninvited companion during this busy season. Through my executive coaching work with some of the most amazing leaders practicing today, I’ve seen how stress can either drive us to grow or take us off track. Recently, I came across this Harvard Business Review article that is a great reminder for all leaders: 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲. Here are a few simple yet powerful strategies to help you navigate this season with #grace and #peace: 🌟 Pause and Check In: Don’t push those feelings aside. Lean into them. Acknowledge what you’re feeling so you can address it before it takes hold. Awareness is the first step to control. 🌟 Stay Connected—Don’t Isolate: When anxiety tells you to stay home or withdraw, don’t listen. Being around others—your team, your peers, your family—grounds you and reminds you that you’re not alone. Connection is the antidote to isolation. 🌟 Be Kind to Yourself and Others: Kindness isn’t just good leadership; it’s a powerful anxiety-buster. Generosity and compassion create a ripple effect that lifts you and those around you. Renee Thompson DNP, RN, FAAN, Workplace Bullying Expert 🙂 🌟 Have a Distress Plan: When anxiety peaks, lean on what soothes and sustains you. That could be exercise, meditation, spending time with loved ones, or simply stepping away from the pressure for a moment. Know your plan, and avoid environments or people that add to the strain. Leaders, this is your opportunity to model resilience and humanity. Remember: how you handle stress doesn’t just affect you—it sets the tone for those around you. How are you managing stress and anxiety this season? Let’s learn from each other. Drop your tips in the comments! 👇

The Inspire Nurse Leaders was back in California last week conducting group and peer coaching at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲? ➡ It simultaneously cultivates competency development in individual leaders and fosters collective team growth.   ➡ It creates healthier work environments, deepening trust and collaboration amongst peers by building competency of members as they gain an understanding of the motivations and intentions of others.    ➡ It enhances team performance, accelerating learning capacity and optimize goal accomplishment at the personal, group and organizational level.  90% of leaders report being more effective.  ➡ It reduces turnover, developing a team that is goal-driven, challenge- oriented and more loyal to the organization.   ➡ It drives ROI, companies that invest in this type of coaching benefit from an 88% increase in productivity and a 6X return on the cost.    One of our CNO clients put it this way: “The Inspire Nurse Leaders Impact Group Coaching program has elevated my average performers to rock stars – and they in turn are training the next generation of motivated high performers who are committed to their roles” https://lnkd.in/guDZz_Dy    #groupcoaching #inspirenurseleaders #nurseleadersonlinkedin#healthcareleadership
