Many common respiratory infections do not need antibiotics. Your healthcare professional will help you know when antibiotics are necessary, when to start them when they are prescribed and when to stop them. If your healthcare professional prescribes antibiotics for your child, give them exactly as they are prescribed. Do not share antibiotics with others or save them for later. #BeAntibioticsAwareIA #USAAW24 More: https://lnkd.in/erySG4F4

Pet owners - practice healthy habits when caring for your animals like washing your hands after touching or feeding your pet. Try to keep your animals and pets healthy by keeping up with your pet’s vaccines, deworming, and flea and tick control. When your pet is sick, be sure to talk to your veterinarian about antimicrobial resistance and using antibiotics and antifungals only when needed to prevent risk to your pets. #BeAntibioticsAwareIA #USAAW24 More: https://lnkd.in/e9J3NexA
