💫 What a fantastic start we’ve had to the CX UK Exchange this morning with fascinating presentations, think tanks and panel discussions from Aymen Ismail, Nan Russell, James Brindley-Raynes, Fabian Kortekaas, Ruben Bell and Noah Subhrasheel Roychowdhury. So many common themes running through this morning’s sessions, but three key takeaways were: 1. Gathering insights is good, acting on insights is better – Data shows that customers are providing less feedback than before. In part, this is due to customers seeing that organisations are not acting on feedback provided. Not only should companies act on customer feedback to improve business processes, but they should also communicate the changes with customers to show that their voice matters. 2. Getting the basics right can drive customer loyalty – Doing what you say you’ll do is one of the most powerful ways to build trust with your customers. Before you begin thinking about delighting customers with added extras, make sure you’re getting the basics right that your customers really care about like data protection and privacy. 3. Bringing the organisation with you is key to driving innovation in CX – Not only do you need buy-in from senior executives, but you also need to bring the whole business with you for CX initiatives to be successful. Removing silos and encouraging everyone to take accountability and ownership can help make CX a company-wide priority.
