A tri-partite special task force between ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research, HTAsiaLink (HITAP_Thailand), and Health Technology Assessment international (HTAi) recently published a report on a stepwise practical approach for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to develop health technology assessment (HTA) guidelines. The report includes key considerations and lessons learned in developing and implementing HTA guidelines, as well as recommendations for stakeholders in LMICs seeking to develop national HTA guidelines.
