The IUVSTA Workshop "Ultra Clean Vacuum" is in full swing! From today until Thursday, leading experts are gathering in Delft, Netherlands to discuss the latest developments in contamination control and vacuum technology. Vacuum plays a central role in many high-tech applications as well as for major scientific research centers. Our CTO for Vacuum Technology, Dr. Klaus Bergner, is one of the speakers. In his talk, "High Purity Vacuum Components for UCV, UHV & XHV," he is sharing valuable insights into the production of high purity vacuum technologies. Our CTO for Cleaning, Dr. Michael Flämmich, and Christopher Gray are available for engaging discussions on innovative vacuum solutions and contamination control. Vacuum technology plays an important role in both industry and science. Think of the #semiconductor industry, metrology equipment manufacturers and users, and large scientific setups like #CERN, #LIGO, and #synchrotrons. Contamination control, or ultra clean vacuum, plays a crucial role in driving down resolution in #lithography and #metrology applications, contaminants can also reduce signal-to-noise ratios in scientific experiments. #Contamination is known to affect both samples, #sensors, and #optics. This inspiring workshop stimulates knowledge and experience sharing between the various technology domains and between academia and manufacturers.
