Our sheet metal shop at FID boasts over 30,000 square feet of space and is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Our coil line is the pinnacle of efficiency, processing approximately 1 million pounds of metal annually. We operate three plasma tables: two 10-foot sheet-fed tables and one 20-foot coil-fed table. With double the equipment in our forming area, we ensure that the material from the plasma tables is formed twice as fast as in most shops. Our waterjet complements our operations, efficiently handling any liner job while delivering precise cuts for various materials and thicknesses. Once formed and assembled, the materials are sorted into one of two laydown areas: one for manifolded duct and the other for non-manifolded duct. Upon completion, each duct’s open end is promptly wrapped and secured to dollies or carts, facilitating easy and quick unloading at job sites for seamless installation. With around 30 skilled sheet metal workers, we confidently produce approximately 2.5 million pounds of the highest quality ductwork each year. #sheetmetal #FID #HVAC #duct #coilline #plasmatables #installations #prefab #fabrication

A little snow did not stop our 8th year taking a stand against homelessness with Winter Walk! This past Sunday, some of our team—and a few furry friends! 🐶❄️—bundled up and took a snowy stroll in support of this year’s Winter Walk. This incredible nonprofit is working to end homelessness by sharing real stories and breaking down stereotypes.
