Jacob's Ladder Rehabilitation
About us
Jacob’s Ladder Rehabilitation is a nonprofit organization providing comprehensive therapy and supplemental care for children in need. We partner with families, communities, and health care providers to help children reach their full potential. We are accountable to our patients, donors, and partners – treating everyone with integrity and respect. We envision a community where no child with developmental delays or special needs goes without comprehensive and affordable rehabilitation services in order to grow into the best version of themselves. This will be accomplished by further educating our community on the benefits of early childhood intervention and encouraging those who share similar values to join us in achieving this vision. Jacob's Ladder is an approved Indiana First Steps Agency for the following counties: Lake, Porter, and LaPorte. If you're a therapist who wants to join our agency, please email MFrigo@JacobsKids.org.

As we begin 2025, we remember our Pediatric Speech Pathologist, Blythe Leer, and the impact she made before she passed away in January 2021. Blythe passionately devoted her time and talents to ensure that children receive the highest quality speech services. In honor of Blythe's life and memory, we created the Blythe Leer Scholarship Fund. Money raised will help provide desperately needed therapy to children who cannot otherwise afford it. Please help us honor Blythe's passion and watch her video, leave a comment or memory, and donate today: https://lnkd.in/gSPdhRiN

Our founder and executive director, Mariann Frigo, was interviewed for The Times of Northwest Indiana! We love to share our Jacob's Ladder story with community members, families, and businesses. The CDC is now reporting one in every six children will be diagnosed with some type of delay. With more than 80 specialized pediatric physical, occupational, speech and developmental therapists, Jacob's Ladder is well-equipped to be a pillar of support for children and their families. As Mariann says, "We are on a mission." Thank you again to The Times of Northwest Indiana and their correspondent Jane Ammeson for giving us the opportunity to share our story and our mission.
