Jacob's Ladder Rehabilitation
About us
Jacob’s Ladder Rehabilitation is a nonprofit organization providing comprehensive therapy and supplemental care for children in need. We partner with families, communities, and health care providers to help children reach their full potential. We are accountable to our patients, donors, and partners – treating everyone with integrity and respect. We envision a community where no child with developmental delays or special needs goes without comprehensive and affordable rehabilitation services in order to grow into the best version of themselves. This will be accomplished by further educating our community on the benefits of early childhood intervention and encouraging those who share similar values to join us in achieving this vision. Jacob's Ladder is an approved Indiana First Steps Agency for the following counties: Lake, Porter, and LaPorte. If you're a therapist who wants to join our agency, please email MFrigo@JacobsKids.org.

Our founder and executive director, Mariann Frigo, was interviewed for The Times of Northwest Indiana! We love to share our Jacob's Ladder story with community members, families, and businesses. The CDC is now reporting one in every six children will be diagnosed with some type of delay. With more than 80 specialized pediatric physical, occupational, speech and developmental therapists, Jacob's Ladder is well-equipped to be a pillar of support for children and their families. As Mariann says, "We are on a mission." Thank you again to The Times of Northwest Indiana and their correspondent Jane Ammeson for giving us the opportunity to share our story and our mission. Thank you for this lovely article, Chesterton Tribune! "The Duneland Family YMCA Healthy Living Campus is pleased to announce that collocated partner Jacob’s Ladder Pediatric Rehabilitation Center has joined on-site operations as of October 7, 2024. With services well underway, staff and clients have been seamlessly adjusting to their new environment and expanded programing, which includes larger therapy spaces, the introduction of aquatic services, and integrated opportunities with fellow partners. This move onto campus will undoubtedly benefit both the Jacob’s Ladder community and greater Northwest Indiana as well." 📰 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/guFFM-af #Chesterton #ChestertonIN #ChestertonTribune #YMCA

Jacob's Ladder was proud to sponsor the Quiet Zone at the Chesterton Hometown Holiday Celebration Parade last weekend! This sensory friendly environment was free of sirens, horns, and music for all families and children. Thank you to Tracy, Laura, Reese, and Brooklyne who passed out candy, necklaces, bubbles, and stickers to all the kids who came to the Quiet Zone!

❄️ Wintertime can bring colder weather, longer nights, and even snow! Have fun talking all about the winter season with your little one. Ask, "What's your favorite thing about winter? My favorite thing is..." Sharing these conversations with your little one helps foster a feeling of security. #TalkingisTeaching First Things First Porter County
