ALIGN recently celebrated the grand opening of the 9,000sqft New Product Introduction (NPI) Center in Philadelphia, PA! This facility marks a key milestone as part of the upcoming 86,000-square-foot manufacturing site, scheduled to fully open by late 2025. The NPI Center provides ALIGN with the capability to validate and refine new products for key customers. ALIGN CEO Mark Cherry, Director of Engineering Wesley Hardin, ALIGN-Philadelphia's Michael Henderson and David Gallagher welcomed ASML team members Matthew Taormina, Christos Vasiliou, and Richard Martino as well as local representatives from Horsham County - Council President Bill Whiteside, Township Manager Bill Gildea-Walker, Director of Community & Economic Development Larry Burns, and Director of Codes & Community Planning Mike Shinton, P.E., CZO, BCO. 48-year ALIGN employee Dan Gutherman cut the ribbon to officially open the NPI center! ALIGN extends thanks to JacobsWyper Architects and MidAtlantic for their partnership in designing and building this state-of-the-art precision manufacturing facility. Last month, we celebrated the Body Odyssey exhibit grand opening at The Franklin Institute—an 8,500-square-foot immersive journey through the wonders of the human body, anchored by the iconic Giant Heart. As architects on this project, we provided critical support to seamlessly integrate the exhibit’s cutting-edge technology with the historic building’s infrastructure. Our Director of Digital Planning, Matthew Ezold, CTS-D, attended the grand opening of The Franklin Institute's Body Odyssey & Hamilton Collections Gallery! The showpiece of the Hamilton Collections area is the impressive 350-ton Baldwin 6000 Locomotive, carefully perserved throughout construction. The gallery also offers a fascinating look into the museum's preservation and digitization efforts, showcasing its storied collections and artifacts for the first time. The Body Odyssey Gallery provides an immersive experience through the human body. Visitors can explore the circulatory system, the complexity of senses, and ways technology and data are advancing medicine and human performance. Our Technology Team provided Digital Master Planning work with the Franklin Institute that created a long term digital infrastructure plan for future exhibits. This plan aims to provide infrastructure flexibility and consolidate decades of technology upgrades. We are excited to continue our work with the Franklin Institute as they plan future exhibits! This inspiring, immersive, community-driven experience brings the human body to life in new and exciting ways. Anchored by the iconic Giant Heart, this gallery features cutting-edge technology and interactive experiences that make learning about the human body fun and unforgettable. 🧠✨Additionally, the Hamilton Collections Gallery showcases over 500 artifacts—including the historic Baldwin 60000 Locomotive—spanning two centuries of scientific innovation with new interactive experiences, reflecting the institute’s 200 years of advancing science education and inspiring discovery. 🚂✨ This milestone would not have been possible without the visionary leadership of Abby Bysshe, Larry Dubinski, Eric Welch, and Jayatri Das, as well as our incredible team, collaborators, and supporters.
