Meet Amina H. 💙 Amina believes that a university education is essential for her future, especially as a person with a disability. She knows it will enable her to pursue her passion for understanding the human mind and help her secure a stable job that can support her family. Amina and her family have always faced struggles, especially due to the costs associated with her medical needs. From a young age, Amina has been fascinated by psychology and the intricacies of human behavior. Despite the hardships, she has always been determined to make a difference. She aims to conduct research, provide therapy, and eventually offer free sessions for those who cannot afford care. Amina's mother has been her greatest inspiration, demonstrating incredible resilience in the face of adversity. She dreams of becoming a successful therapist, helping others while ensuring her family enjoys a better quality of life. "With the right education, I believe I could earn enough money for myself and my family to live a happy life while doing something I love."

Yesterday, we attended the #Blue #Night event organized by the Jericho Foundation and the symphony.is The event was held at the #GREENPARK Symphony venue on Trebević. The Jericho Foundation, founded by Joanna Shields is rooted in the timeless principle taught by her parents: "There is always room for one more at the table." Her parents demonstrated this spirit of inclusivity and hospitality by hosting international students from 11 countries, fostering a sense of belonging and community. In choosing the name for the foundation, Joanna sought to pay homage to her parents while answering a divine calling to support youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina. "Jericho" holds profound significance as the name of a field on the centennial farm where Joanna grew up, symbolizing her heritage spanning over a century.
