In December, our development team mobilized on Coastal Cancer Center's newest location in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The 13,000 SF radiation center will consist of radiation therapy vaults and a CT simulator. In October, our Project Management team, led by Kate Dickson and Stephen Blackshear, celebrated the topping out of the Medical Properties Trust Headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. The facility is aiming to be one of only five buildings worldwide to be certified as LEED Platinum by U.S. Green Building Council, WELL Platinum by International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and both Zero Carbon and Zero Energy by the International Living Future Institute. September saw the final stages of the West Wing Addition project at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This final phase of a larger renovation and addition project includes the remodel and expansion of the west wing of the hospital to add seven inpatient rooms, thirteen 23-hour rooms, and nine “short-stay” recovery bays. In August, our development team joined MEMORIAL HEALTH UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER INC, HCA Healthcare, and Healthpeak Properties, Inc. to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Memorial Health Pooler Campus. The three-story, 67,000 SF facility will be the new home of Galen College of Nursing and will consolidate university physicians, primary care, and women’s care. In July, we joined with the physicians and leadership team of Tennessee Oncology as well as leadership of OneOncology and Ascension Saint Thomas to celebrate the topping out of the new 300,000+ SF Tennessee Oncology Midtown Medical building in Nashville, Tennessee. The project brings together medical oncology, imaging, pharmacy, and lab services, as well as research and drug development. It will also serve as the corporate headquarters for OneOncology. Our team, led by Perry White, Carson Croy, Kate Dickson, and CJ Johnson, is providing development and advisory services for this project.
