Transforming Leadership with High Performance and Mindfulness | From L’Oréal GM & HR Leader to Helping Professionals Unlock Their Best Selves.

There’s ALWAYS something to do—until you CHOOSE to pause 🌿 And be honest—are you really that busy? I’m not saying you aren’t working hard. But if your days are truly packed… how did you still manage to finish every episode of the latest series that JUST dropped? It’s not about judgment (who am I to judge? ❤️ And this post isn’t about judging yourself either)—it’s about AWARENESS. So ask yourself: Are you busy with what’s actually important? Or are you stuck in the cycle of “busy work”? Are you all over the place? Jumping from one thing to the next. Trying to do five things at once. Working on tasks that aren’t a priority. So distracted that you’re not being effective at all. It’s not just about work—it shows up in life, too. 🚩 Are you half-listening in conversations? 🚩 Grabbing your phone while doing other things? 🚩 Rushing through your day without actually BEING in it? And if you’re a Leader—how is that affecting your team? Are you doing things last minute, creating unnecessary stress for others? 📱 Are you picking up your phone during meetings—half-listening, multi-tasking, and unintentionally signaling that being “always on” is a good thing? It’s the habit of always needing to stay busy. 🌿 This is where mindfulness comes in 🌿 Mindfulness isn’t about stopping everything. It’s about being fully present with what you’re doing. Whether you’re in a meeting, having a conversation, or spending time with someone, it’s about SHOWING UP with intention and awareness in that moment. As a Leader, it’s your responsibility to stay engaged, to listen, and to lead with intention. As a friend, partner, or family member, it’s about being fully present—giving others the attention they deserve. 💫 Mindfulness is about training yourself to be present. 💫 To notice. 💫 To cultivate awareness—and with that, self-awareness. It’s how we break the habit of constant distraction. The urge to grab your phone the second there’s silence. It’s how we REFOCUS and RECONNECT—with ourselves, those around us, and the moment we’re in. I had the privilege of sharing this practice at Fabrik’s Digital Detox Day last month. And my session wasn’t about cutting off from technology—it was about something much deeper: ✨ reclaiming presence ✨ Through breath and body awareness, we explored what it feels like to slow down, reset our focus, and be in the moment. And then there was music 🎶 🎹 Research shows that music can ease stress, and help us reconnect on a deeper emotional level. A big thank you to Sofia Bianchi for creating a space of calm that words alone couldn’t reach. So before you dive into the thing, pause and ask yourself: “Am I intentionally directing my attention, or just reacting to whatever comes next?” I’d love to hear your reflections 👇 ➡️ Follow Pauline Leung for more on High Performance and Mindful Leadership. #focus #intention #leadership #awareness #digitaldetox #stress #mindfulleader #highperformance

Building an IRL solution to combat workplace loneliness, uplift communities and create more connection and belonging ✨ | GTM & RevOps Leader for Mission-Driven Companies | CHIEF | Pavilion

I started signing off with "Warmly," and "With gratitude" and here's why. In the last 15 years of my professional career, never have I ever used these sign-offs until I started working with my cofounder, Jaclyn Pascocello. I started signing off this way in 2023 when we started building Fabrik – because she did. There are manyy times I automatically type "Best," but then I pause and delete delete delete. It's in that pause I'm reminded of why that small gesture or acknowledgment of kindness and gratitude is needed in the world – especially today. They say you are a combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with. I'm grateful I get to build Fabrik with the most empathetic, people-first leader, Jaclyn Pascocello. The brand and warmth of Fabrik is her in physical form, and I am such a better leader because of her. When I reflect on my five people, I'm reminded how the right community can transform us. If you're seeking a space where kindness and inspiration flow naturally, come experience what we're building at Fabrik. ❤️

Ditch the Pitch: Practice What You Read – Feb 26, 6pm, @ Fabrik NYC, sign up here: https://lu.ma/2b82ysjt We’ve all been there, sweating through a pitch, trying to convince a potential client to say yes. But what if the secret to winning work wasn’t about selling harder, but talking smarter? In Chapter 2 of The Win Without Pitching Manifesto, Blair Enns makes it clear: stop pushing, start listening. Instead of forcing a sale, have a conversation. Ask the right questions. Let the client decide if you are the right fit, without the desperation dance. That’s exactly what we’ll be practicing at Practice What You Read on Feb 26 at Fabrik NYC. Gurjinder Singh and I are covering the first three chapters of the book, but this one hits home for anyone tired of chasing clients instead of attracting them. Curious? Skeptical? Ready to shift how you approach business? Pull up a chair, grab a book, and let’s put these ideas into action. 📅 When: Feb 26, 6pm EST 📍 Where: Fabrik NYC 📝 Sign Up: https://lu.ma/2b82ysjt Let's stop pitching and start attracting! #Innovation #Management #DigitalMarketing

Keynote Speaker on the Power of Conversation, Executive Coach for leaders who want to drive change through dialogue.

As a coach, I can offer many kinds of support to founders, but the kind of support they can offer each other is extraordinary. I've been hosting a monthly Founder's Forum to create a space for vulnerable and helpful conversations between founders and the next one is coming up Feb 21st. Many thanks to Fabrik for the space to make these conversations possible, and to founders like Robyn Schlicher, Ph.D, Zach Hawtof, Jona Higa, Greg Larkin, Adelaida S. Diaz-Roa, Prince Rumi, Sally Chung and Stephen Roland for bringing their full selves to the space! Link to the next session in the comments...

🚨 Your Business is Forgettable—Here’s How to Fix It 🚨 If your business isn’t crystal clear about who it serves and what it does best, you’re making it harder for people to hire you. The biggest mistake service businesses make? Trying to be everything to everyone. 🔹 The truth? Clarity creates demand. 🔹 The fix? Niche down. 🔹 The result? You attract better clients, charge more, and stop chasing work. This is straight out of Chapter 1 of The Win Without Pitching Manifesto by Blair Enns —one of the best books on selling services without constant pitching. That’s why Gurjinder Singh and I are hosting Practice What You Read —a free in-person event where we don’t just read the book, we apply it. It’s halfway between a course and a book club, designed to help you extract real, actionable value. 📍 Where: Fabrik NYC 📅 When: February 26th, 6 PM EST 🔗 Join us! Details here: https://lu.ma/2b82ysjt We’re diving deep into the first three chapters, covering: ✅ How to specialize and stand out ✅ Why positioning beats persuasion ✅ How to create demand instead of chasing clients Ready to stop being forgettable and start attracting the right clients?
