About us
The Joint Center was founded in 1970 as the Black think tank. Today, the Joint Center remains anchored in the Black community and collaborates closely with organizations from other communities, like the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. We focus on the impact of automation, artificial intelligence, and other innovations on the future of work, economic development, and quality of life in communities of color. We also work to increase diversity among staff in Congress.

Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies reposted this
Over the weekend, I had a chance to provide insight for this explainer article from the Associated Press on how the president-elect's tax plans will affect all of us. In short, it's very clear that by further cutting taxes for the wealthy and corporations (who already received a big break in recent years!), he will add to the national debt and contribute to higher interest rates and prices for the rest of us. Thank you, Fatima Hussein, for allowing me the opportunity to contribute. https://lnkd.in/ecwx6riq
The rising price of paying the national debt is a risk for Trump's promises on growth and inflation
