JUST-OS

🪼On 6 December we attended the Netherlands Reproducibility Network (NLRN) Symposium at the University Medical Center Groningen. We had the chance to present our poster to fellow Open Science enthousiasts. The event was a great opportunity to gather valuable feedback, engage with critical questions, and connect with colleagues interested in reproducibility. 🪼Besides the poster session, there were some interesting talks by Casper Albers, Tracey Weissgerber, Pim Huijnen, and Pieter Huistra. Moreover, in the afternoon there were workshops and a panel talk about the future of reproducibility, where our own Nina Schwarzbach was one of the experts! 🪼 What is JUST-OS? While many researchers are enthusiastic about embracing Open Science practices, navigating the vast array of resources can be overwhelming. That’s where JUST-OS comes in! We’re developing an AI-based chatbot designed to help researchers find and navigate Open Science resources in a way that’s: 🔹 User-Tailored –  Resources can be matched to each user's discipline, profession, and type of knowledge they are looking for. 🔹 Time-Efficient – The chatbot narrows down the overwhelming abundance of resources, focusing only on what’s relevant to the researcher’s specific needs. 🔹 Engaging – Through an interactive interface, it encourages researchers to adopt and explore new Open Science practices in a dynamic and approachable way. Our mission is to make Open Science accessible, approachable, and actionable for researchers everywhere. 🪼 Who is JUST-OS?
