It was an evening of celebration in Los Angeles, for the launch of OLEHENRIKSEN ‘I Love Me' limited edition Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment made in collaboration with Anine Bing. The OLEHENRIKSEN team alongside influencers and friends of the brand came together for the newest OLEHENRIKSEN launch. The evening was a blast with the DJ playing music all night, build your own custom lip gloss charm station, and plenty of photo booth moments.

Fenty had an incredible time at #SEPHORiA2024. Sephora’s iconic beauty festival was held in Atlanta where we connected with 6,500 passionate beauty insiders. We were able to showcase our full Fenty Hair collection while providing a styling experience open to all attendees in our booth. On the masterclass stage, our global stylists Ursula Stephen and Justine Marjan showcased the latest techniques across different hair textures using Fenty Hair. In the VIP lounge, Fenty Beauty hosted custom lip services, giving attendees a sneak peek at the Fenty Beauty Holiday collection. Thank you to everyone that came to experience Fenty at SEPHORiA.

Celebrating the full spectrum of personal identity is embedded into who Kendo is at our core. As an inclusive beauty brand deeply rooted in the celebration of all identities, months like these give us an opportunity to lean into a deep belief that we’re proud of at Kendo: beauty knows no boundaries. But inclusivity goes beyond just representation, it’s about weaving the stories of our people, our clients, and our communities into every aspect of what we do – from our product lines to our marketing campaigns, from internal culture to community engagement. In this edition of Kaleidoscope: Exploring Kendo, we’re excited to share the inspiring story of Janette Brandolino – Senior Manager, Payroll. Janette demonstrates how the values instilled in her have empowered her to own her voice in the workplace, while reinforcing the value of diligence and hard-work. Let’s continue to honor the unique stories of our Hispanic/Latinx colleagues and create a legacy of inspiration for generations to come.

“You are not lucky to be here. The world needs your perspective. They are lucky to have you.” — Antonio Tijerino In the United States, 1 in every 5 people you interact with every day is of Hispanic/Latinx heritage. In California, where we are headquartered, that number is closer to 1 in 2. These numbers make plain how strong and influential this community is. At Kendo, we pride ourselves in striving to create products that serve every community. We understand our responsibility to not only grasp the unique needs and aspirations of Latinx consumers, but to also ensure that our Latinx-identifying employees are empowered with equal opportunities for growth and success. As part of our commitment, we’re excited to present the third installment of Kaleidoscope: Exploring Kendo, a series highlighting the diverse voices within Kendo. This week feature Fernando Velasquez, whose story adds a rich layer to our understanding and celebration of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month. Join us as we continue to elevate and honor the myriad of stories that shape this community. Because when each perspective is heard and valued, we all thrive.

As we continue to celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage month, we’re reminded of the integral role that Hispanic/Latinx contributions have played to our company’s growth and culture. From the beginning, we’ve seen how championing diverse perspectives enhances our collective success. Our dedication to elevating voices that have traditionally been underrepresented has not only enriched our company – it has also sparked meaningful change and innovation. In this second installment of Kaleidoscope: Exploring Kendo, a spotlight series dedicated to sharing Kendo employee stories, we invite you to check out the story of Lori Beltran (She/Her/Hers), Senior Manager – Supply Planning E-Commerce, who’s cultural heritage has deeply influenced her personal and professional life. Join us in discovering the unique experiences that shape our vibrant community. Together, let’s honor the rich tapestry and talents that each member brings into Kendo.

Imagine a workplace where every generation connects – that’s 'Bring Your Kids to Work Day' at Kendo! We love mixing work and play, and this event is a shining example of how we embrace family values while having fun together. From creative activities to hands-on learning, 61 Kendo employees and their 80 guests had an unforgettable day building memories, connections, and maybe even recruiting some future Kendoites! A big shout out to our Parents & Caregivers Employee Resource Group (P.A.C.K.), volunteers, and the DEI team for bringing this event to life. We’re proud to share that everyone had a blast – both big kids and little ones alike. Have you experienced the magic of a multi-generational workplace? We’d love to hear your story!

At Kendo, we believe in the power of people across every dimension. Celebrating a diverse and inclusive workforce is not just a part of our identity – it's at the heart of our core values. In this spirit, we are proud to introduce “Kaleidoscope: Exploring Kendo”, a spotlight series designed to highlight Kendo employee stories. These diverse experiences are the mirrors in a kaleidoscope, reflecting unique and vibrant patterns from their lived experiences that inspire our culture and products. We’re excited to kick off the series in honor of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month. Why do we use the term Latinx? “Latinx” is a flexible term that refers to diverse American communities with Latin American and Caribbean roots. “Latinx” is also a gender-neutral term used instead of Latino/Latina that comes from American-born Latinos/Latinas who want to foster inclusivity. We use “Latinx” in this same spirit, to include all who identify as part of this expansive group. This season is a reminder that identity is beautifully complex and should be celebrated in all its forms. In recognizing this diversity, we acknowledge the profound impact that Latinx individuals have had on shaping trends, pioneering products, and bringing unique perspectives that continue to enrich Kendo. From the bold lip combos influenced by Latin American women to innovative hair care solutions designed for a wide spectrum of textures - these contributions are invaluable. They not only drive economic growth but also contribute significantly towards fostering inclusivity within our business. Check out our page throughout the month where we will be sharing powerful stories of our employees, offering a window into the collective and vibrant experiences that shape our workplace.
