  • Let’s talk about taking your message global. What is transcreation? Transcreation (short for “translation + creation”) is the process of adapting creative content—like marketing campaigns, slogans, or ads—while preserving its original intent, tone, and emotional impact. It’s about making your message resonate culturally and emotionally with a new audience. How is it different from translation? Translation focuses on accurately conveying the meaning of the original text in another language. Transcreation, however, goes further by adapting the message for cultural relevance, reimagining phrases, idioms, or imagery to fit the new market’s values and expectations. Here’s a simple English-to-Spanish example to show how it works: 💬 English: "Everything you need—on a budget." Translation: Todo lo que necesitas—dentro de tu presupuesto. (Accurate but a bit flat.) Transcreation: Todo lo que buscas, al mejor precio. (Natural, engaging, and culturally appealing.) 💬 English: "It’s the biggest sale of the year!" Translation: Es la venta más grande del año. (Correct but lacks flair.) Transcreation: ¡La oferta del año que no te puedes perder! (Exciting and urgent—ready to grab attention!) At Keylingo, our transcreation experts ensure your brand’s voice isn’t just heard—it’s remembered. Let’s make your brand unforgettable in any market: https://lnkd.in/drcgEQZb #Transcreation #GlobalMarketing #Localization

Scrum Master, and Enthusiastic Leader | I empower teams to achieve strategic goals by maximizing their strengths

One of the most rewarding parts of my role as VP of Operations at Keylingo is working with a truly global team. Across time zones, languages, and cultures, I’ve seen firsthand how diverse perspectives drive innovation and strengthen collaboration. That said, building alignment isn’t always easy. It requires intentional communication, respect for cultural differences, and trust in each team member’s strengths. Here are three strategies we use at Keylingo to foster alignment within our global team: 1️⃣ Clear and consistent communication: From daily friendly interactions to company-wide updates, we ensure everyone feels informed and connected. Pro tip: GIFs, emojis, and music sharing help make our organizational culture unique and fun. 2️⃣ OKRs for alignment: We use Objectives and Key Results to connect strategic goals with team and individual objectives, giving every team member clarity and purpose. The key? Our shared management software, which makes collaboration clear, simple, and accountable. 3️⃣ Autonomy and empowerment: By fostering trust, respecting cultural differences, and aligning on shared values and best practices, we empower our team to make decisions and take ownership of their work. When a global team works as one, the results are extraordinary 💖 What strategies do you use to foster connection and alignment in your teams? I’d love to hear your thoughts! #Leadership #GlobalTeams #Operations

  • 🫣 What happens when businesses try to take a “one size fits all” approach to global markets? Inefficient use of resources and missed opportunities. Each audience, region, and industry has its own way of thinking, communicating, and connecting. At Keylingo, we’ve witnessed this across countless industries and projects. In e-commerce, product descriptions must do more than translate; they need to align with local preferences. A “summer sale” may require a different tone or timing depending on the market. In legal translations, every term must comply with local regulations while preserving the original intent. In healthcare, even the smallest misinterpretation can have serious consequences, making precision and cultural nuance essential. Even within the same industry, companies have unique needs. A startup launching a multilingual website might need an engaging, fresh tone, while an established #B2B manufacturer requires technical accuracy to build trust in new markets. This is where Keylingo comes in. We don’t just translate—we immerse ourselves in your industry, your company, and your audience to deliver tailored language solutions. Whether it’s marketing materials, HR documentation, or technical manuals, we approach every project with one principle: global success requires local relevance. “One size fits all” doesn’t work because language is personal, cultural, and contextual—and so is business. 👉 Ready to make your global vision a reality? CEO @ Keylingo | Follow for stories, insights, and events about business and entrepreneurship, professional and personal development, and finding your version of success.

How to change your perspective on change? Markets change, industries evolve, and challenges appear when we least expect them. Over the years, I’ve learned that the difference between success and stagnation comes down to one thing: mindset. When we see uncertainty as a barrier, we limit ourselves. But when we view it as an opportunity, we unlock the potential to innovate, grow, and uncover new possibilities. Personally, staying curious and open to change has been my guide through ambiguity. Professionally, it’s about fostering a culture where teams feel empowered to take uncertainty and transform it into action. At Keylingo, we’ve built our approach around this principle—encouraging creativity, collaboration, and adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients and the global marketplace. Empowering a team starts with trust—trusting their creativity and resilience to adapt and make decisions when the path ahead isn’t clear. It also means providing the tools, support, and autonomy they need to explore solutions, take smart risks, and learn from mistakes. When people feel ownership over challenges, they’re more likely to see opportunities others might miss. Some of the greatest wins I’ve witnessed have come from moments of uncertainty, driven by teams who found potential where others only saw obstacles. What opportunities have you uncovered when facing the unknown? #Leadership #Adaptability #Innovation
