About us
For 40 years, KGA Studio Architects has offered a collaborative and interactive design process for their clients, unlike any other architectural studio. KGA's portfolio of residential architectural work includes award winning remodels, custom homes, merchant builder models and community amenity buildings. The firm holds LEED, NAHB Green Professional and CAASH certifications. There is another perspective that KGA provides their clientele: the ability of "forward thinking" design work. A sharpened awareness of parallel industry trends and an appreciation of demographics aids their ability to do a bit of design forecasting. In the ever changing housing industry, that has been a benefit to KGA clients. Our forward thinking approach of blending design with value is underscored by the creation of "Considered Design"© . . . a carefully weighed process which utilizes prioritized decision making to control costs, while optimizing a home's function, style, and buyer perceived value. Last Friday we built a ramp for Leisa, a woman in her early sixties who walked into the hospital in the spring of 2022, never to be able to walk again. Leisa uses a manual wheelchair when at home and a powered chair when she goes out. Until now, she's had to struggle with the stairs down her front porch, lowering herself down them and then lifting herself into her chair as best she can. Rain or snow makes this virtually impossible. Her new ramp will remove these obstacles, providing her with greater dignity and independence in her daily life. Giving back is one of our core values at KGA, and we love supporting and volunteering for the Home Builders Foundation. We're excited for Leisa to enjoy her new ramp!
