We are thrilled to share that the BBC has just released an insightful story on the Krafla Magma Testbed (KMT)! 🎥   The documentary provides an in-depth look at our efforts to establish the world’s first magma research centre in Krafla, Iceland. It includes interviews with KMT CEO Björn Guðmundsson, Bjarni Palsson, Executive Director of Geothermal Development at Landsvirkjun, and Sigrun Nanna Karlsdottir, Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the University of Iceland (Háskóli Íslands). They discuss the incredible potential of KMT to revolutionize our understanding of magma dynamics, geothermal energy, and volcanic risk management.   KMT represents a unique opportunity for international collaboration, advanced research, and the development of sustainable energy solutions.
