Our mission is big. We are determined to change the way that female athletes, of all levels are trained and supported, and the need for this work has never been clearer. - Only ~6% of sport and exercise science research is focused exclusively on females. [Cowley et al. (2021)] - Up to 66% of elite female athletes perceived their menstrual cycle to affect training & performance. [McNamara et al. (2022)] - Only ~8% of elite female athlete's report having sufficient knowledge about the menstrual cycle. [Solli et al. (2020)] - 94% of women who hold C-suite level positions are former athletes and 52% played sports at the collegiate level. [EY (2020)] The data is clear: it’s time to revolutionize how we train and support athletic females. Kynisca Innovation Hub is bringing together top experts from sport, exercise science, and medicine to lead this change. We've assembled an exceptional team of coaches, scientists, applied practitioners, medical professionals, engineers, and business leaders to create a groundbreaking blueprint for training and supporting athletic females, based on the latest research and innovation. We are also beginning to align our network of partners who will help us accomplish our mission. If you are an individual or organization that shares our vision, we would love to connect with you.
