📣 L2 Point Management Closes Oversubscribed Inaugural Fund, Raising Nearly $460 Million for Structured Equity Strategy - L2 Point Management, LLC is a private investment firm specializing in innovative capital solutions for growth-stage companies. - Announced the successful close of L2 Point Opportunities Fund I L.P. at approximately $312 million, exceeding its $300 million target. - Total capital raised, including related co-investment vehicles, is nearly $460 million. - Investor base includes public pension plans, foundations, insurance companies, funds of funds, and high-net-worth individuals. - Founded by Kerstin Dittmar, who serves as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer. - The firm is woman- and Latina-owned and led. - Focuses on tailored financing solutions across technology, healthcare, consumer, and media sectors. - Aims to optimize the cost of capital while providing mitigated downside risk and meaningful upside potential for investors. - "Late-stage growth companies today are faced with a dilemma: sell equity in their business and incur permanent and costly dilution, or take on operationally restrictive debt," said Ms. Dittmar. - Seeks to minimize dilution while enabling investments in growth opportunities. - Acknowledges the current market trend of companies staying private longer and resetting valuations. - L2 Point has raised over $500 million in capital commitments since inception. - Investments include SimSpace, leader in military-grade cyber ranges; Wasabi Technologies, provider of affordable cloud storage solutions; Fabletics, the largest digitally native activewear brand; and Revolution Foods, which delivers healthy meals to students and communities. - PJT Partners Park Hill served as placement agent for the fundraise. - Proskauer Rose LLP acted as legal counsel.

On September 20th, I had the honor of chairing the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital’s Miracles on the Bay Gala. We raised over $1 million for the life-saving mission of St Jude and have raised over $7 million since I launched the event in 2012. I am thankful that my former team at Sixth Street supported my philanthropic efforts early in my career – it allowed me and my Co-Chair Sandra Rutova to build this gala into the magical event it is today. This year, I had the joy of sharing the evening with my L2 Point team and their families, and I hope the event inspired and encouraged them to pursue their own philanthropic interests. At L2 Point, we have committed to donating 5% of our carried interest to charitable causes in an effort to align our success with a positive impact on our communities – and I can’t wait to see the causes our team members will champion over the coming years.
