The new student Mini Business "Vibrant Prints" had their debut at the IU13 Lebanon Student Bazaar on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Last year with the help of Lori Blantz, an eColor Poster Printer was purchased with the sole purpose to teach student entrepreneurship. The program called "STEP" teaches students how to set up a business and provide customer service to the selling of their product. This mini business is different than other mini business where the profits go immediately back into the maintenance of the printer. This includes, ink, toner, paper, and any fees for service. This is a self-sufficient mini business where all funds are returned to grow the project. To teach paying back a loan, the students are providing any IU13 program products they can make at no cost until the debt is paid. They have already assisted the IU13 maintenance department and Mr. Lokey with room number stickers at NEC, Mrs. Unton with student bazaar posters for the upcoming IU13 Lancaster Student Bazaar on 12/5/24, Mr. Locker with the IU13 emblem for his new office, Mr. Croyle for Keys to the Culture signs for NEC. They are currently working on some posters for HR for the NEC building. If you are interested in anything for your program (please review with your supervisor or Lori Blantz) or for yourself personally, please email Vibrant Prints at stworders@iu13.org or go to https://hubs.li/Q02Znq_Z0. The team of Vibrant Prints will be in touch with you about your order. #WorkWorthDoing
