🌟 Dify v0.14.2 is live, bringing enhanced error handling to Workflow/Chatflow through a new retry feature. Developers can set the number of retries and the interval, allowing nodes to automatically retry on errors. This reduces disruptions caused by network latency and enhances application stability. The feature complements default values and workflow redirection and is available for critical nodes prone to errors: LLM, HTTP, Tool, and Code. ✨ New Models - Azure GPT-4o-2024-11-20 - Gemini-2.0-flash-thinking-exp-1219 Now, with Gemini and Claude, users can specify text and file input order in the prompt editor, allowing for more flexible and accurate multimodal responses. 🥳 Dify v0.14.0 brings improved error handling to make your AI workflows more resilient! This means fewer disruptions, better insights into workflow issues, and more control over error responses 💪. We've implemented two new features: 🔢 Default Values: Predefined output values allow downstream nodes to continue functioning even with missing, incorrect, or malformed input. 🔀 Workflow Redirection: When exceptions occur, the workflow redirects to an alternative branch, using the `error_type` and `error_message` variables to capture error details and enable follow-up actions, such as notifications or backup tool activation. This update improves error handling across LLM, HTTP, Tool, and Code Nodes. For more details, read the blog post: https://lnkd.in/g34E6-Fw We’ve also integrated advanced models like gemini-2.0-flash-exp and updated the app creation interface and template page for you to explore. 🚀 Dify v0.12.0 is Out! 🎉 New Features 1️⃣ File Variables in LLM Nodes Use File and Array File variables directly in the LLM Prompt editor within Workflows to seamlessly handle documents, images, and audio files (currently supporting gpt-4o-audio-preview). 📒 Note: For LLMs without native file processing capabilities, you'll still need to use a Document Extractor node to convert files to text format. 2️⃣ Document Processing for ChatBot & Agent Introducing document toggle for ChatBot and Agent applications! When your model supports document processing (txt, markdown, pdf, html, xlsx, etc.), enable this feature to let your application handle tasks based on user-uploaded files. 💻 For Developers 1️⃣ Python Environment Updates Default Python version upgraded to 3.12 with performance improvements and dependency updates (including Gevent). Now supporting Python 3.11-3.12. Python 3.10 tests removed for faster CI pipelines. 2️⃣ App DSL Import API Changes - Deprecated: Legacy routes for DSL file/URL imports and Workflow override routes - Added: New /imports endpoints (affects users with extensive secondary development) For more improvements and bug fixes, read the full changelog: https://lnkd.in/gjJg6-4n
