Kindness Under Fire: How Lasagna Love Overcame a Challenge Together Sometimes, the road to spreading kindness takes unexpected turns. This year, we faced a challenge we never anticipated—our newly redesigned website came under cyberattack. The very platform we rely on to connect volunteers with families in need was temporarily disrupted. But here’s what happened next: ➡ Our Volunteers Showed Up: Even without the website functioning fully, our incredible volunteer community didn’t hesitate. They continued delivering meals, impacting over 3,600 people during this time. Their dedication is the heart of Lasagna Love. ➡ We Protected Our People: From shielding our volunteer web designer to onboarding our new Portal Director during the crisis, we prioritized support and empowerment for the people who make our mission possible. ➡ We Grew Stronger: This challenge inspired us to strengthen our systems, reimagine how we protect our mission, and double down on the technology that helps us deliver kindness at scale. This experience reminded us that kindness isn’t just in what we do—it’s in how we rise together, even in difficult times. Our volunteers, donors, and supporters make it all possible! In a beautiful display of their values, they empowered 100 employees to direct $10,000 to organizations close to their hearts.
