This event is meant to showcase real climate solutions to a panel of VC’s to determine one winner. Investor: “You gave the best presentation that I have ever seen in a pitch!” Founder: “I have Dana to thank for that.” The conversation when I introduced an investor to a founder who’s a client. I didn’t need to tell the investor about the business because he remembered! The conversation moved right to questions about recent traction. The investor did not say, “you had the best deck” (even though it is pretty darn good). Because investors don’t remember beautiful decks.
