We’re excited to announce that the citizens St. Clairsville, Ohio now have access to greater help in meeting their planned and unplanned life events. This marks 14 Lendmark branch openings in 2024, and we cannot wait to positively impact the St. Clairsville community. We encourage residents of St. Clairsville to stop in and meet Branch Manager, Anthony Hicks, and Loan Consultants, Kary Koutsky and Sondra Blake, who are eager to greet the community with a smile. On Saturday, November 9, Lendmark employees gave their time towards the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office Fourth Annual Thanksgiving Food Giveaway in partnership with Volunteer Gwinnett and SOUTHEAST GWINNETT COOPERATIVE MINISTRY. This event distributed over 3,000 meals to local families, each receiving a ham or turkey, sides, fresh vegetables, and personal and household items.   What we love most about our Lendmark family is the selflessness of our employees and their intentionality in giving back to our communities. As we prepare to gather with our loved ones and reflect on all that we're grateful for, please know that we are most grateful for each and every Lendmark employee! In honor of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11, we’d like to extend our gratitude to the brave men and women serving in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. Here at Lendmark, we’d especially like to share our heartfelt appreciation for the 160+ employees in our Veteran’s Integration Program (VIP) – made up of dedicated veterans, veteran spouses, and caretakers. Your unique experiences and perspectives add immeasurable value to our workplace. Childhood Cancer Awareness Month exists to shed light on the battle families and children endure when faced with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Here at Lendmark, our long-standing partnership with CURE Childhood Cancer provides us the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families battling pediatric cancer. In fact, we have raised $8.83M for CURE’s precision medicine research over the last nine years. This could only be accomplished by the relentless support of our employees and vendors towards our annual Climb to Cure fundraising campaign. Their selfless dedication is how we can make such a tremendous impact as we fight to find a cure for childhood cancer. September awards us the opportunity to honor the true heroes of this fight -- the kids who are battling unimaginable challenges with incredible courage. It also allows us to honor the memories of those lost and to carry them in our hearts. Congratulations are in order! Lendmark’s very own Shalon Travis, VP of Talent Acquisition and Contingent Workforce, was recently recognized as one of SIA’s 2024 Contingent Workforce Game Changers. Staffing Industry Analysts, or SIA, honors forward-thinking contingent workforce management professionals who are evolving the global world of contingent work through their innovation, determination, and ability to change the game. Shalon is being honored for her 'out-of-the-box' thinking in establishing and overseeing a highly successful Internal Recruitment program at Lendmark. She has been recognized amongst professionals from organizations such as Netflix and Marriott International.
