✨ A Moment to Celebrate Unity in 2024! ✨ This year, an extraordinary overlap of holidays takes place: Christmas, the first night of Hanukkah, and the start of Kwanzaa all align on December 25th and 26th. It’s a unique opportunity to reflect on the values that connect us and the light we bring to the world, whether through tradition, community, or kindness. We see this convergence as a chance to celebrate LEVATA Human Performance’s values: 🌟 Communicate with Radical Transparency Let’s approach this season with openness, sharing our stories and traditions, and listening with caring candor to understand and celebrate what makes each of us unique. 🤝 Create Conscious Connections Holidays remind us of the importance of meaningful connections—with our families, colleagues, clients, and communities. This alignment of celebrations calls us to bridge divides and come together in service of something greater. 🌍 Pay It Forward As we light candles, exchange gifts, and observe traditions, let’s think about the ripple effects of our actions. Small gestures of kindness and generosity can inspire others to do the same. This is a great time to give back to those in our communities. 🏠 Foster Belonging Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, all three, or none, this is a moment to create space for everyone’s traditions. Together, we can build an environment where everyone feels valued and included. 💡 Put People First At Levata, we see people—not roles or titles. This season, let’s take time to recognize the whole selves of those we work with and serve, celebrating their unique perspectives and experiences. As the lights of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa shine on the same night, let’s reflect on how we can create impact by honoring our shared humanity. How are you planning to celebrate this meaningful holiday overlap? Share your ideas, and let’s spread light together. ⚫🟢🔴🕎🎄 #LevataValues #Unity #HolidaySeason #Kwanzaa #Hanukkah #Christmas

  • The Evolution of Workplace Exodus: From "Great Resignation" to "Great Detachment" Recent Gallup research shows an interesting transition in the workforce landscape. While the "Great Resignation" was characterized by unprecedented voluntary departures, we are now entering an era of "Great Detachment" where employees feel increasingly disconnected yet unable to make career moves in today's economic climate. 💡 What is different this time? During the Great Resignation, employees left their jobs seeking better work-life balance, higher compensation, and improved workplace flexibility. Today, the challenges run deeper: ✔️ Only 45% of employees understand what is expected of them. ✔️ Employee connections to the company's mission have hit a record low of 30%. ✔️ 73% of organizations experienced disruptive change last year. ✔️ Both younger employees and new hires struggle with role clarity. 💲 At what cost? Gallup research estimates that voluntary turnover costs organizations $1 trillion annually. Harvard Business Review estimates that poor employee engagement costs companies $450 billion to $550 billion annually in lost productivity. Organizations that focus on two critical areas have seen positive results: 🔍 Clear expectations and priorities: Leading to 9% higher profitability and 11% better work quality. 🤝 Strong mission connection: Resulting in 32% lower turnover and 15% increased productivity. At LEVATA Human Performance we can help close that gap. Our team collaborates with leaders and organizations to empower them with the skills and programs they need to drive actual engagement results. From adaptive decision-making to fostering team resilience, we are here to support your growth. 🔹Are you ready to invest in your team? Let’s discuss how we can support your organization’s journey to excellence. A few of our colleagues recently attended the thought-provoking Rocky Mountain People + Strategy Group event, Equipping Today’s Talent for Tomorrow, led by Donald Knight, Group SVP, People & Culture at Warner Bros. Discovery. While he provided many valuable take-aways, here are a few that we’ve continued to talk about: 1️⃣ Align People and Financial Strategies. When creating your People Strategy, align it to the overall business strategy with KPIs that are lock step with your organization’s financial view. It seems obvious, right? Maybe, but currently there are no standard KPIs that pull these two crucial components together. Donald is currently partnering with Northwestern University on 22 KPIs that will build this bridge. We can’t wait to see them! 2️⃣ Your People Strategy should consider the multiple generations currently in the workforce. How do employers drive engagement and fulfillment with four generations of workers in the workplace together - all coming from different places, with different experiences and life perspectives? 🌟 Champion diversity of thought 💻 Invest in digital tools 📚 Promote lifelong learning 🏆 Foster leadership development 3️⃣ Recalibrate the role of HR as the guide, not the police - like the wisdom of Rafizi in The Lion King or Yoda in Star Wars! We see this as an opportunity for HR Leaders and Consultants to guide and partner with talent to prepare them for the future, balancing when they need direct feedback versus the right amount of information to help them chart their own course. At LEVATA Human Performance these best practices are top of mind as we partner with our clients on engagements including HR and talent strategy, change management, creating leadership development programs, individual coaching, and our other service offerings. We come alongside them, meet them where they are, and partner on strategies and solutions for the future. 💬 What do you think is important for your organization or industry when preparing today’s talent for the future? #PeopleStrategy #HRLeadership #WorkplaceCulture #FutureOfWork #WorkforceStrategy

  • We have been actively following the work of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP Global) International Coaching Federation Joint Task Force since its inception. Not only has our very own Chief Evangelist, Kurtiss (Kurt) Wolf been involved with it from the beginning, but also we actively intersect the two professions within our own firm. While we expect many more to follow, our two primary use cases are: * We include Executive Coaching as a recommended element in large transformational change programs we lead. * A large percentage of our team members are certified coaches, so in addition to supporting our clients with classic contracted executive coaching, they leverage The Coach Approach in much of their consulting work.   If you would like to learn more about exploring this intersection at your organization, we would love to discuss it further! Chief Evangelist @ LEVATA | Transforming Organizations with Elevated Human Performance

While it’s been a couple months since the press release, I wanted to do a quick shout out before year-end regarding the announcement that the International Coaching Federation and Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP Global) signed a “Memorandum of Understanding to Foster Collaboration.” This agreement formally extends the partnership by an additional three years and paves the way for future collaboration between these two people-centered disciplines.   As a long-time change practitioner and change management evangelist, I was first exposed to coaching via my first Executive Coach, Barb Van Hare (Menter) PCC, CPCC, CDTLF. Her work with me was truly transformational. We then partnered on a few coaching engagements that made a hugely positive impact for our mutual clients… and then seeing the power of coaching in change management, Barb helped my last organization get many of our change consultants certified in coaching.   Years later, I more formally got involved in this intersection by hosting “coaching in change” sessions through ACMP Colorado and was then asked by ACMP’s CEO at the time, Maria Darby, to join the Joint Task Force of the two organizations.   Since then, we have seen local partnerships and joint events sprout in Texas, Ukraine, Ontario, and Florida. The Joint Task Force has published Thought Leadership on various aspects of the intersection between these two disciplines, hosted joint webinars sponsored by the two organizations with attendees in the thousands, and spoken at both ICF and ACMP conferences.   I am truly grateful that Magdalena Nowicka Mook and Deshini Chetty Newman FRSA MA(Cantab) MBA(Publishing) MSc continue to see the power in this intersection and support continued collaboration. I look forward to more great webinars, conference presentations, chapter partnerships, and thought leadership from the JTF. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered on the JTF over the years, for the great staff support from Mike Morgan and Amanda Pastermack and many others at the ICF and ACMP, and to everyone who has attended our webinars and conference speaking engagements.    As we close out this year and look forward to next year, this is a great reminder that following a passion project and paying it forward is another great intersection worth exploring for all of us!   https://lnkd.in/eh43ZekA

Embracing Conscious Connections: Strengthening Relationships This Holiday Season It is indeed the most wonderful time of the Year. Here at Levata, as we enter into the holiday season, we are placing a spotlight on our value of Creating Conscious Connections 💖. We have found it essential to focus on Conscious Connections with our clients, colleagues, vendor partners, and others. Conscious Connections, for us, are defined as creating meaningful relationships through intentional acts of service. We believe that being in service and in community with others yields the great results we all genuinely seek. As the holidays draw near, we are reminded that this is an opportunity to actively invest in relationships. 🎁 Intentional actions—like checking in on a colleague, offering support to a client, or expressing gratitude to a vendor partner and others—are all at the foundation of Conscious Connections. We recognize that each interaction is a chance to build trust, uplift one another, and reinforce our commitment to community 👥. This aligns directly to the spirit and true essence of the holidays. One of the most impactful ways to cultivate Conscious Connections is through 👂 listening with empathy. Taking a moment to listen and understand others’ perspectives and challenges fosters an environment where people feel seen and valued. These small acts make a big difference, especially during a season when many are balancing holiday activities and personal commitments along with professional obligations. Whether it is a quick check-in call or a shared coffee break, we make it a priority to connect in ways that show our genuine care and concern for one another. All the best to everyone from the team at LEVATA Human Performance. #ConsciousConnections #StrengtheningRelationships #HolidaySeason #IntentionalActions #CommunityBuilding #EmpathyInAction #RelationshipGoals #ConnectionMatters #ServiceToOthers #LevataHumanPerformance

  • One of our colleagues, Angel Emerson, recently posted about completing her certification in the Leadership Circle Profile 🎉. 💡 Did you know?: A study published in the Harvard Business Review found that consultants with recognized certifications bring not only advanced technical expertise but also a structured, strategic approach to problem-solving, leading to improved organizational performance and faster decision-making processes. 📊 The research highlighted that firms working with certified consultants reported a 15% increase in efficiency and cost-effectiveness across key initiatives (HBR, 2018). At LEVATA Human Performance we utilize the right-fit tools based on each clients’ needs, and it got us thinking about all of the helpful certifications our colleagues are constantly leveraging. Our consultants are certified in Prosci and Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) for change management ✨, Insights, Hogan Assessments, and International Coaching Federation's Professional Certified Coach certifications (to name a few) for learning and leadership development 💪 and Executive coaching, Project Management Professional (PMP)® 📋 certification, as well as SHRM's Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certifications. 🚀 Looking for a partner who can leverage years of experience and validated industry tools to take your organization to new heights? 👫 Colleague Speed Dating Not romantically of course… Recently at our LEVATA retreat, we carved out an hour to flip speed dating on its head through a series of short, timed conversations between newer and tenured colleagues. We answered questions about our first job, skills we’d love to learn, and things that happen professionally that send us off the deep end. As a 100% virtual company 💻🌐 we have identified successful and creative ways to consciously connect including intentionally leveraging time, in-person, together to build deeper professional relationships. The topics were fun, and the laughter was loud. While we recommend trying it at your company too, we’d love to hear your recommendations for creating strong connections at work - please share your thoughts in the comments! 💬💡 #ColleagueConnections #WorkplaceCulture #VirtualTeam #CreativeCollaboration #CompanyRetreat #TeamBuilding #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceWellbeing
