Liquid Rocketry at Illinois had a fantastic weekend at the 17th annual von Braum Space Exploration Symposium held at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. The event focused on expanding space enterprise, which our delegation contributed to via poster presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting like-minded peers and other collegiate rocketry teams- such as the UAH Liquid Rocketry team, Tartarus. We would like to thank the American Astronautical Society for hosting the Symposium, NASA Associate Admin Jim Free for his insight, and AAS Executive Director Jim Way for his support. #Space #CollegiateRocketry #AerospaceEngineering

LRI is looking for engineers who work with CFD to speak at our event! We are planning a CFD learning weekend (Nov 16-17th) for UIUC students and wanted to include a section where industry professionals would zoom in for 20 minutes and discuss how they use CFD and why its important. Please message us if you would be interested in helping out or you know someone who would.

LRI was at the Glenn Symposium! A delegation of our team recently had the honor of attending the #GlennSpaceTechSymposium of the American Astronautical Society to present the current progress of our pumps team. We give thanks to the American Astronautical Society and Jim Way for this amazing opportunity. Tis the season of giving and for the next month anyone who donates any amount to the LRI GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/6e452f9e) will have a custom Santa Hat sticker with their name placed on the test stand blast shield. If you ignore this post expect to receive a stocking full of LOX over your fireplace. #Rocketry #STEM #SpaceExploration #Engineering #CollegiateRocketry #RocketScience #StudentProjects #HigherEducation #ScienceInnovation #FutureEngineers #SpaceTech #STEMEducation #RocketLaunch #Innovation #STEMStudents #SpaceTechnology #SpaceEnthusiasts
