I have been doing a lot of thinking about how two particular bodies of research, the #scienceofreading and #deeperlearning, can work hand in hand to strengthen Tier 1 literacy instruction and improve outcomes for kids. I am super proud of the way this thinking is manifesting in the support that the Literacy Design Collaborative is providing to instructional leadership teams, teacher PLCs and to individual teachers across the country.
