The most enormous thanks to everyone who made our Peterborough Christmas party possible! The biggest thanks must go to URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group, Free People & Nuuly) for sponsoring the whole event and even organising reindeer to fly-in and see the children! Hundreds of us, big and small, had a magical time with our incredible Santa from https://lnkd.in/ehuZa2K3, who kindly gifted his time to us. He was absolutely amazing and we thoroughly recommend getting him booked in for your event next year! We also must thank Lauren Irving-Cooper ABIPP for taking photos for us, Steve Smith from Bubble Events and Krissma Coleman for the photo board, and Graham Cleaver for entertaining everyone! And the heroes of the hour were John Davidson and his colleague Mark of JS Davidson. Without them we wouldn't have been able to get anything to or from the party and, despite (literally) getting stuck in the mud, did it all with a smile. Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough was a wonderful venue, the staff were amazing and we look forward to working closely with you next year! And to everyone else who donated presents and chocolates, helped us with wrapping, fetched and carried and dressed as an elf, THANK YOU!! We quite simply couldn't have done any of this without you. Louise Evans, Michelle King, Georgia H., Vicki O'Brien, Lauren Smith and everyone at Little Miracles Charity wish every single one of our children, families and supporters the most wonderful Christmas and New Year 💚 Mateusz Krajewski, Thomas Bull, Antony Roberts, Tracy Cleaver

Huge thank you to Paul Fearnhead for sponsoring our Christmas Eve brunch. We enjoyed amazing Christmas films in our PJs, ate delicious festive food and excitedly wished our friends a very Merry Christmas before for the big day! Sponsorship like this allows both adults and children to connect with their friends in a non-judgemental environment and enjoy this Christmas period which can be difficult for a family who have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions. Thank you, Paul, for spreading Christmas cheer and allowing our families to be together at Christmas 🎄 If you’re thinking about supporting us in 2025, please 🌐Visit: https://lnkd.in/eNcFxMyi 📧 Email: fundraising@littlemiraclescharity.org.uk 🗣️ Contact: Georgia H., Louise Evans or Vicki O'Brien

We have been a bit quiet online lately but it’s for good reason… We believe the Christmas period should be enjoyed by everyone, money is tight in the current climate and it can be even more difficult for a family who have a disabled family member. With your help, we have been able to make up food hampers for those who can’t afford luxuries (and even essentials) this Christmas and we have made sure every child that sees us gets a gift that’s tailored for them, kindly donated by YOU! Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to bring smiles to children’s faces or support their families. Stay tuned for what we get up to over the next week! A huge THANK YOU to all those who have donated this week to our food hampers, food bank, dropping off presents, volunteered to wrap presents and those who have held Christmas fundraisers for us 💚🎄 your support means more than you know! There’s still time to get involved! Did you know our newest branch is in Cambridge? We received these kind words from a parent who went to the Cambridge branch pantomime and had their first Little Miracles experience with their child 💚 “The Cambridge Little Miracles branch create a safe nurturing space so beautifully to allow children with additional needs to access experiences that wouldn't usually be realistic. If you have been gifted a child with additional needs, I'd highly recommend joining their community, the Cambridge crew are so wonderful. A massive thank you for all you do” Words like this mean the world to us and we love hosting these events for families who have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions so that everyone can have an inclusive Christmas! Now with 18 branches across East of England, we are reaching more people everyday who need help. Thank you to those who have supported us this week: The Silver Spoon Company for raising a whopping £1,515 for us at their Christmas raffle! This could pay for over 100 hours of family support. The Scooter Club for donating presents every year. This helps us to make sure everybody gets a present which is specifically chosen for them and appreciated. The children were also thrilled to sit on the Scooters! MHA for hosting a company auction and raising over £630. MHA have been great supporters this year and are raising lots of money regularly for us. This kind of support helps us be there for families who have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions and could go towards a fully adapted interactive experience for over 70 children. Manchetts Group Services for dropping off 50 selection boxes for the children to enjoy, creating lots of smiles! Yaxley Riders who donated a brand new bike for one of our teenagers who is non-verbal. He learnt to ride a bike in our garden area and was very excited to receive a bike of his own! Yaxley Riders also held a raffle and raised £230 for us. Milestone Infrastructure for donating 80 presents all wrapped up and ready to go out to children we see. With a variety of presents for all ages, we are able to gift them to plenty of children who will cherish them.
