Linkin Park “From Zero” Live Stream Hits Over 9 Million Views & Counting Southpaw Productions is still riding high after producing a monumental, one-night-only cinematic live film for alternative rock legends Linkin Park. The event, streamed live across multiple platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, @Facebook, & even Times Square, has surpassed 9 million views & the number keeps growing. After a seven-year hiatus, marked by the tragic passing of iconic frontman Chester Bennington, Linkin Park has made a thunderous return to the music scene with a new lead vocalist, Emily Armstrong. The band’s new single, “The Emptiness Machine,” was at the heart of this special live event, designed to be intimate, powerful, & unforgettable for their loyal fan base. In secret, the band & production team meticulously planned this live stream concert for months. Over 1,000 unsuspecting fans were invited to a Warner Brothers sound stage, unaware they were about to witness history in the making. After seven long years, they were rewarded with an explosive 60-minute set that reintroduced Linkin Park to the world with raw emotion, & electrifying energy. The atmosphere was nothing short of breathtaking. Linkin Park also kicked off a limited tour starting just six days after the live stream, with several arenas selling out within hours. Fans who have seen the Los Angeles show can attest—this is the Linkin Park they’ve been waiting for, & they are not disappointed. A Personal Note from the Director “Linkin Park helped launch my cinematic multicam career over 17 years ago with a live video release of Minutes To Midnight. Seven years ago, I sadly had the honor of filming Chester Bennington’s memorial concert at the Hollywood Bowl, and now, on September 5th, I had the privilege of capturing Linkin Park’s epic return. This shoot was unlike any other—there were moments when I struggled to hold back tears during the camera meeting. It was a deeply emotional experience for me & for everyone on set, but also a beautiful one. I’m incredibly honored to have been invited back into the Linkin Park family, & I’ll never forget this experience.” Shoutouts & Thanks A huge thank you to the crew who poured their heart and soul into this project.
