Last week I had the incredible opportunity to work with Loaves & Fishes for St. Louis and set up a volunteer opportunity for my local St. Louis cell team. This was an eye-opening experience helping our community. For those of you that don't know Loaves & Fishes for St. Louis provides interim housing programs, food pantry & assistance programs, and outreach services to help struggling families in St. Louis. Thank you Xander Simms & Alan Ellis for providing my team and I with such a touching story and movement to help our local community. Meeting the families we were able to help provide food for was extremely impactful and I cannot wait to volunteer here again in December. We had an incredible time last week with the amazing volunteers from Caleres, Inc. , a global footwear company with roots right here in St. Louis, crafting iconic shoe brands for over 140 years! Their team’s energy, kindness, and dedication truly made a difference, and we’re so grateful to have had them with us. Together, we organized, connected, and helped serve those in need, bringing us one step closer to building a stronger, more supportive community. With volunteers like you, we’ve been able to achieve some incredible milestones: 2023 Impact Highlights: -315 families found stable housing, with 76% moving to positive housing solutions. -4,570 individuals received meals, with 87% being seniors in need. -Volunteers like you donated 4,879 hours, saving us $73,185 and making it possible to serve even more families!
