On December 19, 2024, Marv Diller, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, marked his final day at Lobar Associates. Marv has been a dedicated member of the Lobar family for over 40 years, being one of the inaugural employees when Lobar Associates was founded in 1986.   A graduate of Cumberland Perry Vo-Tech and Northern York High School, Marv began his career in 1985 as a construction mechanic and accredited welder. His exceptional skills and commitment to professional growth led to his promotion to Vice President of Construction in 2000, and subsequently to Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President in 2004.   Marv’s outstanding expertise, unwavering dedication, and positive influence on customers, colleagues, and the community have been instrumental in the success of Lobar Associates. His contributions have been invaluable, and we would not be the company we are today without him.   Please join us in extending our best wishes to Marv Diller for a happy retirement. He will be greatly missed as a vital part of Team Lobar. #BootsontheGround

At 5:00am on Dec 10th, Lobar received a call from DGS to assist them and the Harrisburg City Fire Department with a raging fire at the Harrisburg State Hospital’s Cherrywood Building. We had a Project Manager on site within 45 mins and were informed that the 75,000 sf 3-story building needed to be immediately demolished for public safety to protect against a dangerous collapse. Our heavy equipment and operators were up and running by 7:30am - thanks to a police escort! Thank you, DGS, for trusting Lobar Associates to help you quickly and safely control an emergency. Also, thanks to our amazing operators, equipment team and everyone that gave 110% at a moment’s notice. #TeamLobar

Project update! We are making steady progress on the Kish Bank Building in Mifflintown, PA. This 3,000 SF new build, located on William Penn Highway, began on November 4th, 2024. The expected turnover is April 2025. #TeamLobar #BootsontheGroundConstruction
