The world's biggest tidal kite just went live in the Faroe Islands... turning ocean flows into clean electricity. 28 tonnes and anchored to the seabed, it's basically a megawatt-scale power plant able to generate enough clean electricity to light up a small town. ... simply by harnessing ocean power. Innovation like this can change the world. It's still early days for tidal energy, but the potential is incredible. Until we hopefully one day crack the 'holy grail' of clean energy with fusion, we'll need to invest in research and innovation across many solutions in parallel (wind, solar, hydro, tidal etc.) if we want to move humanity past the age of fossil fuel dependency.
