Trusted leader with 20 years in program management, strategy and operations in equity-focused nonprofit organizations

Last weekend, a friend hosted 16 people to discuss timely issues, including the L.A. fires, human rights, and immigration. Her skilled facilitation--a great example of Priya Parker's work on the Art of Gathering--created a space where people could ask genuine questions and feel heard. Through the conversation, I discovered insightful podcasters and writers, learned how leadership of national and local political parties are determined, and explored new ideas for engaging locally. This experience was a powerful reminder of the impact of gathering in community—to connect, learn, and inspire action. (Photos below are more examples of similar connections in 2024!) As we move into 2025, Leadership Tomorrow will continue to connect, educate, inspire, and catalyze collective action. 🌟 ➡️ How Will You GATHER, LEARN, and TAKE ACTION in 2025? • 🎉We are thrilled to share Leadership Tomorrow’s Annual Report for the fiscal year September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024. This year was especially meaningful as we celebrated 40 years of cultivating a network of engaged leaders dedicated to addressing our region's toughest challenges. When our founders met in 1983 to discuss the details of what would later become Leadership Tomorrow, they sought to unite and equip a sustainable and growing community of next-generation leaders with deep regional knowledge, cross-sector relationships, and effective leadership skills who could, in turn, inspire and engage others in building a healthy and equitable community for all. Today, in a time of heightened polarity and division, that vision and Leadership Tomorrow’s work have never been more important. It's inspiring to reflect on the impact of our collective efforts. From distributing more than 4 million books to support children's literacy, to revitalizing downtown Seattle, to countless alumni running for public office and serving on nonprofit boards and commissions—your leadership is creating ripples of positive change that will be felt for generations. Thank you for being a vital part of the LT community. Your support makes this essential work possible! 📖 We invite you to explore our Annual Report here ➡️https://lnkd.in/g_JMee_4 #TogetherWeThrive #LeadershipTomorrow

It has been over a month since the general election - and I know so many of us are taking this time to process, be with the humans who fill us up, and prepare for what the next few years will look like. I am feeling grateful to these 100+ humans who came out on a rainy Thursday night in November to be in community and commit to action!!

What a night! More than 150 people gathered at Town Hall Seattle last Thursday for a post-election event focused on belonging, community building and civic action. Special thank you to Town Hall and our amazing partners at Leadership Tomorrow, Civic Genius and Seattle CityClub — and to everyone who showed up to be in community and start the next chapter.

  • 🔥🎇Creating space to build cross-sector relationships is what makes Leadership Tomorrow so special — and impactful. Kate Nagle-Caraluzzo, LT’24, Executive Director of Town Hall Seattle, and Lindsey T. H. Jackson, LT’24, Lead Executive Officer of LTHJ Global, might never have crossed paths if it weren’t for Leadership Tomorrow. In a blog post, Kate reflected, “Inside of 30 minutes, I could see that Lindsey is a person who knows exactly what she wants — and what she hopes the world can be. The kind of person who believes deeply in humanity, justice, and coming together. And the kind of person who refuses to compromise her values. Lindsey’s authenticity and leadership are truly inspiring.” This connection sparked a powerful collaboration: Town Hall Seattle is partnering with LTHJ Global to present Lindsey’s Unlearning Series. This series offers the opportunity to address issues like discrimination, social justice, violence, and other pressing topics while healing and learning together. The first conversation in the series, Misogynoir: The Intersection of Misogyny and Anti-Blackness, is this Thursday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m. Lindsay will be joined by a panel of inspiring speakers including Dr. Moya Bailey, Fleur Larsen, and LT board member Amelia Ransom, SPHR. 📢LT Alumni Bonus: Use promo code LEADERSHIP to receive $5 off your ticket. Register here ➡ Hope to see you there!
