In just 30 minutes, Manish shared forward-thinking ideas, real-world examples, and insights from his architectural work that inspired us. His deep knowledge and passion for design brought fresh perspectives! 💡🌃 Manish Gulati, an Architect alumni of CEPT, Ahmedabad, started his career in the Events and exhibition industry. He moved from there as a creative director to start his firm, MOFA Studio. His deep knowledge and passion for lighting design illuminated exciting possibilities for the future of cities at night. 💡🌃 With a background in art and electronic engineering, Roger Narboni is a pioneer in 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 and the creator of the 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 methodology, with over 150 studies worldwide. He has completed around 300 lighting projects across landscapes, urban spaces, heritage sites, and architecture, always pushing the boundaries of design and technology. Roger’s work also explores the importance of darkness through his 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, highlighting how cities can balance light and shadow to benefit both humans and biodiversity. After dinner, we headed upstairs to capture photos, take in the breathtaking cityscape, and exchange thoughts on lighting, culture, and history.
