UK regulators are meeting with Chancellor Rachel Reeves today to present plans to stimulate economic growth by reducing regulation and opening markets to new participants. A good start to the new year with a return to the QED Brussels stage, this time discussing securitisation reform in the EU as part of efforts to deliver the Savings and Investments Union. An opportunity to make MFA's case for a narrower definition of securitisation, right-sizing the due diligence requirements for investors and broadening the roster of potential sponsors to include alternative investment fund managers.
