To promote stability and peaceful coexistence within the Horn of Africa, it is essential to establish the Horn of Africa Economic Community (#HAEC), a regional bloc that is currently missing.
This bloc could play a crucial role in fostering economic cooperation, enhancing regional integration, and addressing common challenges faced by the countries in the Horn of Africa.
Through the HAEC, member states could collaborate to promote trade, investment, and socio-economic development, ultimately contributing to the region's overall stability and prosperity.
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development #IGAD is not and will not be a viable solution for this particular requirement; rather, it should revert to its fundamental purpose as a center for mitigating drought and fostering development.
Several members of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), including Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, and South Sudan, are currently affiliated with the East African Community (#EAC Bloc). However, the #HornofAfrica region faces obstacles in its engagement within its Bloc. It is imperative for #TheHorn countries to progress collectively. #HAEC.
Ensuring stability and peaceful coexistence within the Horn of Africa necessitates the establishment of the absent regional bloc, namely the Horn of Africa Economic Community (HAEC).
