Maryland Apprenticeship Connection (MAC) is a statewide intermediary to apprenticeship in Maryland to ensure access for an underserved population and those with employment barriers. MAC will create centralization and coordination across the MD apprenticeship ecosystem, connecting education and industry.

In her new role, Vanessa will lead our efforts under the Developing Statewide Capacity to Support Maryland Women in Apprenticeships (WANTO) grant. This program is dedicated to expanding access to Registered Apprenticeship programs for women across the state, particularly those from underrepresented and underserved communities. Vanessa will play a key part in preparing Marylanders for rewarding, equitable, and sustainable careers.
