About us
At the heart, our mission at MAPS® is based in service to our clients and community. We are passionate about affecting positive change in the business of real estate, architecture and construction. We started MAPS to bring clarity and discipline to the regulatory process for the entire life cycle of any project. Similar to the law, building codes are there to systematize how architects design buildings for the safety of the public. We embrace this responsibility from the outset, collaborating closely with project teams to incorporate permit strategy and code compliance into project management and design, delivering better outcomes and reducing costs.

MAPS, Michael Dritto, Competes For USA in International Shuffleboard Tournament At MAPS, we celebrate our team’s talents, both inside and outside the office. Recently, our own Michael Dritto traveled to Texas to compete in the prestigious International Shuffleboard Tournament, going head-to-head with some of the best players in the world. To give a bit of background, this is not the tabletop shuffleboard found in bars and arcades. This is floor shuffleboard as made famous by cruise ships and the state of Florida. Michael is an avid player and advocate of the sport and ended up finishing ranked 1st in the state of Illinois for 2023. This ranking earned him a spot to compete in the International Tournament held this year in San Benito, Texas, representing the USA. Over the course of a week, Michael played 12 games and finished 13th globally, (6th best placement from the US)—a remarkable accomplishment! With this finish, he is hoping this will make him a contender to be picked to represent the USA again next year in Germany. Competing at such a high level speaks volumes about Michael’s dedication and competitive spirit. We’re incredibly proud of him for representing MAPS on the international stage and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next. Congratulations, Michael! #chicagorealestate #chicagodevelopment #shuffleboard #ISA

We're delighted to welcome Kameron Lyles to our Strategic Planning team! Kameron Lyles is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, earning his bachelor's degree in architecture with a minor in urban and regional planning. While attending college, he also studied abroad in Spain for a year where he gained an appreciation for preserving historic architecture. His expansive knowledge about urban landscapes and his passion for designing for the common man is what motivates how he hopes to design in the future. As an Associate Project Manager on MAPS Strategic Planning team, Kameron plans to combine, not only his appreciation of the city of Chicago, but also his experience with management of projects during active construction. From his first Eagle Scout project to being a co-president for the architecture student council at UIUC, Kameron has seen the positive results of being an effective communicator and applies it to informing and assisting in the various permit processes and he values making strong connections across the AEC industry. We look forward to the significant contributions they will make to MAPS. #chicagorealestate #chicagoarchitecture #teamgrowth
