I had so much fun spending the day in #Braintree. Meeting with Mayor Erin Venezia Joyce, PE, learning more about the opportunities she’s tackling, while getting to participate in a robust discussion in a packed room at their Council on Aging. Love that I got to cap the day off at The Tree Bar and Lounge with Meredith Boericke. Looking forward to our next visit! #mapoli

Traveling the state, I love the way city halls feature portraits of past mayors. It’s a beautiful tribute to the men and women who give everything to serve their communities. Monday night’s portrait unveiling for City of Methuen Mayor Neil Perry should have been one where we heard Mayor Perry celebrate his successes for our hometown… and yet, that’s an evening we never get to have. Instead, it was an evening of honor, remembering a man for his grace, kindness, knowledge, and commitment to Methuen. Much love, Mr. Mayor. I know you’re smiling down on all of us. ❤️ #mapoli
