MassBio appreciates the Legislature for their thoughtful approach to industry engagement and effective transparency through this legislation. Their approach seeks to strike the right balance between reasonable market oversight, especially through the licensing and regulation of pharmacy benefits managers (PBMs). Our last #FundingFriday of the year spotlights Portal's $7 million Seed Round led by IA Ventures. Since emerging from stealth a year ago, Portal has accumulated over 50 biopharma and academic partners leveraging the next generation mechanical delivery technology for applications ranging from novel drug screening assays to engineering cell therapies with circular RNA. We also celebrate the launch of Tasca Therapeutics, the first startup created out of Cure Ventures, with a $52M Series A round to develop small molecule inhibitors for multiple oncology indications. #MassBioMembers #PatientDriven
