Exciting news for McKinney! Harvest at The Masonic has been included in The MICHELIN Guide Texas 2024 recommendations. Michelin's undercover inspectors, who dine anonymously and use rigorous criteria, recognized Harvest for its commitment to sustainability, thoughtful sourcing, and hospitality. As Executive Chef Andrea Shackelford said, "The community itself fuels us to be great. I think it's great to just give back to McKinney as well in that sense." Owned by Rick Wells and located in a beautifully restored 19th-century Masonic lodge, Harvest has continued its mission to support local farmers, ranchers, and artisans, delivering exceptional farm-to-table dining experiences. Congratulations to Executive Chef Andrea Shackelford, General Manager Sanam Zahir, and the entire team on this well-deserved recognition! This week on McKinney Momentum we feature Dana Riley and Jill Johnson Scigliano from The Samaritan Inn right here in McKinney. The Samaritan Inn was founded in 1984 as a 10-bed single men’s homeless shelter. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest shelters for our unhoused neighbors in North Texas. They serve single men, women, and families and have the capacity to serve up to 226 residents. Funded by private donors, city grants, and the InnStyle Resale Shop, YOUR giving and volunteering go a long way.
