👏Huge congrats to Beth Taylor, our VP of HR & Admin, for winning a Houston Business Journal 2024 HR Impact Award! We're so proud of her for being named HR Leader of the Year for a Small Company. This prestigious award is a testament to her exceptional leadership and dedication to HR excellence. In her seven years with Memorial Park Conservancy, Beth has helped shepherd the organization from 17 employees to more than 70! She has grown from providing part-time HR consulting services to being a member of the Conservancy's senior leadership team as the VP of HR & Administration. Perhaps even more impressive is Beth’s ability to step well beyond her HR role to lead major aspects of the organization's transformation, even in the face of unexpected challenges. 🎉Congrats again, Beth - so very well deserved!!

There was no shortage of holiday cheer at our all staff gathering this week! Employees arrived donned in festive outfits for the occasion. There was a delicious lunch from Feges BBQ and an abundance of treats to satisfy every sweet tooth.🍬 Everyone enjoyed tasting and voting for a winner in our Annual Pie Baking Competition. Congratulations to Sarah Hernandez for winning first place with her Pina Em-“pie”-nada! It was an afternoon filled with laughter and fun. We hope everyone is having a wonderful time this season!
