We celebrated moving into our new, expanded office space by coming together for ping pong and some friendly competition at SPIN Boston. We love the excitement of #BacktoSchool season. The Metaphore team recently collected school supplies and filled backpacks for School on Wheels of Massachusetts, an organization helping students impacted by homelessness succeed in school and reach their full potential.     We’re proud to contribute to such a meaningful cause and help kids feel confident and prepared as they get ready to take on a new school year. We recently spoke with scientist Monica Kirby, PhD, to hear how she’s building on the skills she learned in academia to help improve our MIMIC platform. After interning with us two years ago, we’re thrilled to welcome Monica back as a permanent member of our team!     “I had my first exposure to startup culture when I interned with Metaphore and from that experience, I knew that I wanted to work in industry. Last week, team members joined colleagues from other #FlagshipFounded companies to spend the day volunteering with non-profit organizations in support of the Greater Boston community. On this year’s Day of Service, they worked with a range of local non-profits including The Food Project to help support its mission to build a more sustainable and just food system.
