Today, we are excited to announce a collaboration with Novo Nordisk and Flagship Pioneering's Pioneering Medicines to develop up to two next-generation therapeutics for obesity management.     The collaboration will leverage our MIMIC platform to develop long-acting, multi-targeting medicines leveraging GLP-1R and related biology.   Partnering with a drug developer as experienced as Novo Nordisk in one of the most exciting areas of drug development is a significant opportunity for us as we advance our MIMIC platform and pioneer novel therapeutics.     Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eGz49usv #FlagshipFounded

I was honored to share my story with over 200 colleagues at Flagship Pioneering’s celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science last night. The energy in the room was electrifying. This event was a fantastic display of the community we have here at Flagship, where we are committed to empowering and championing the next generation of #WomenInScience. I am deeply grateful to my new Flagship teammates, including Lovisa Afzelius, Christine Heenan, Laura Kline, Joy Right, Melissa Currier Briggie and so many others, who share my passion for supporting women in the workplace and providing them with opportunities to thrive in their careers. Reflecting on my own journey growing up in South Africa and my career in biopharma, I’ve realized how crucial it is to pay it forward and help others find a voice. I think it’s special that we have a culture at Flagship dedicated to uplifting one another. We truly are one team, united in working towards a collective goal. Let's continue to break barriers together.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of speaking at the inaugural #BioLogicSummit. My key takeaway: the integration of high-quality data and powerful machine learning is transforming the future of molecular design.
