From 10th to 20th September Metrea's Tactical Data Link team participated in NATO's prestigious Counter Unmanned Aircraft System Technical Interoperability Exercise (C-UAS TIE24). Held at the former De Peel Air Force Base in the Netherlands, this two-week event brought together over 450 military, government, and industry personnel from 19 Allied Nations and 3 Partner Nations. The focus of C-UAS TIE24 was to enhance interoperability between C-UAS systems and improve the military's ability to counter malicious drone activity. Metrea played a pivotal role by providing an advanced C-UAS training solution, combining our Link 16 synthetic scenario generator (Spectral Sim), JREAP/TAK software, and TDL/C2 expertise. Our team worked alongside instructors from the US and UK Joint C-UAS Office (JCO) to develop realistic UAS threat scenarios and vignettes. These scenarios were used to train military operators in advanced C-UAS tactics and procedures, ensuring they are well-prepared to face real-world threats. By providing a full-stack, full-wrap C-UAS training solution, Metrea empowered NATO forces to effectively detect, track, and neutralize drones.
