Before the pandemic we were serving 1,000 meals a week to children and families in need. Now, that number has grown to 1,200 meals a day. Not only do we nourish the children in our Early Learning Center, but we work with community partners like Christa McAuliffe Charter School, Hoops & Homework, A Place to Turn, ATAC, and many more. Yesterday, our team attended the Alliance of Massachusetts YMCAs' Annual Meeting and YPN Chapter 4 Recognition Event at Gillette Stadium! It was a fantastic day of engaging conversations and celebrating the impactful work of all YMCAs across the state. Emmett Prescott, our Out-of-School Time Director, was honored with the Emerging Leaders award while Jesus Addarich, our Out-of-School Time Assistant Director, received the Unsung Hero award.
